1. Kudzu 104.9 Classic Country FM Radio Station will spotlight (2) Classic Country music genre songwriters each month by playing an introduction voiced by the writer followed by the writer’s song chosen from the submission.

2. The songwriter’s song will be broadcast on Kudzu 104.9 at 2 PM on the first and third Sunday of the month and at 6 PM on the first and third Tuesday of the month.

3. Each songwriter will be chosen by the Kudzu Radio Owners. The decision of the Owners is final. Please note that this is a classic country radio station. Keep this is mind as you are submitting.

4. Chosen songs must be professionally produced and registered with BMI, SESAC or ASCAP. We recommend that songs also be available for digital download.


If your song is chosen:


a. Kudzu 104.9 will notify you via email and/or phone and will schedule your time slot.

b. You will either come into the studio in Ripley, MS and record your radio introduction or Kudzu 104.9 will give you instructions on how to simply record your radio introduction on your mobile device and send it in via email.


6. Every month, Kudzu 104.9 will post the selected songwriters on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. We encourage you to share this on your social media outlets.

7. Songwriters agree that they will not receive financial compensation for the (4) times that their song is played on Kudzu 104.9. This opportunity is strictly for advertising purposes only related to the songwriter and their Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival Performance.
